Phone Jacks

Mounting 1/8-inch phone jacks (Radio Shack 274-248)

Drill the lead holes with a 3/32-inch bit.  Then enlarge the hole for the threaded neck with a 1/4-inch bit.  Enlarge the hole through the inside layer of the aluminum briefcase with a 1/2-inch Forstner bit.

Solder the leads to the track to the two tabs facing each other on the phone jack.
