Brush Cleaner
My first enamel paints came in a Testors set of quarter ounce bottles, and included a bottle of enamel thinner, which I've used as a brush cleaner. Unfortunately, the pigment accumulates rapidly in the small bottle, making it more difficult to actually clean the brushes. So I picked up a one and three-quarters ounce bottle of Testors Brush Cleaner. I use both bottles in a two-step process. I clean the brush in bottle #1, getting rid of most of the pigment. Then I wipe the brush on a paper towel and rinse again in bottle #2. The second bottle accumulates pigment much more slowly this way and the brush ends up cleaner than it would by simply rinsing it in a single bottle. I'll pick up another bottle of Brush Cleaner the next time I'm in a hobby department. I'll use it as bottle #2, and rotate the current #2 into the #1 position, discarding the bottle containing most of the pigment.
